Martin Vincent Otse, popularly known as Very Dark Man, VDM, appeared in the House of Representatives today.
He was seen entering the building clad in a white native attire wearing white hand gloves on both hands and accompanied by his herbalist in red wrapper along with some of his supporters and lawyer, Deji Adeyanju.
He arrived on the invitation of members of the House of Representatives who had extended similar invitation to the Comptroller General of the Nigerian Correctional Services, NCOs, Haliru Nababa.
VDM had posted a voice note that went viral, purportedly by Idris Okuneye alias Bobrisky the cross-dresser, alleging that he had given the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC, officials N15million as a bribe to strike off his money laundry case and secure for him a private facility instead of the prison.
Bobrisky has since sued VDM for N1 billion as damages while demanding that VDM retract his statement with a public apology within 24 hours.
VDM has reportedly counter-sued Bobrisky for N1 billion.
Meanwhile, the dust raised by VDM’s audio revelation has continued to gain ground as two officials of the Nigerian Correctional Services have been suspended pending the conclusions of investigations.
