The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has, for the second time in a month, raised its pump price of petrol in Abuja by 14.8 per cent to N1,030 per litre from N897.
Recall that NNPCL had in September increased pump price from N615 per litre to N897.
This will invariably further surge the inflation rate in the country.
Citizens and motorists are lamenting the recent increase claiming that the hike in the pump price of petrol will further aggravate the economic situation in the land.
Meanwhile, long queues have returned to most filling stations.
