The results of the election in the United States of America appear to tilt in favour of Donald Trump of the Republican Party.

The results according to Associated Press shows Trump scoring 248 votes and Harries 214 votes. They both require 270 of the electoral votes to clinch the presidency.

The Associated Press has called North Carolina and Georgia for Donald Trump, cementing the former president’s first swing state win in the 2024 race, while Harries wins New Hampshire.

Although most Election Day polling sites across the United States have closed, results and data are still being collated. The presidential race in Pennsylvania, a key swing state for both candidate, is too close to call.

The race between Vice President Kamala Harris and Trump is extraordinarily too close to call, as more votes still need to be counted before a winner will emerge.
