Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have reportedly arrested about 93 suspected internet fraudsters at the Green Legacy Hotel, located within the premises of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
In a raid allegedly carried out in the early hours of Sunday morning by the Lagos directorate anti-graft agency, the operatives reportedly rounded up a number of youths and seized more than 20 luxury cars and other valuables.
Details of the arrests remain still sketchy, but reports have it that the EFCC Spokesman, Dele Oyewale, confirmed the incidence stressing that investigation was on-going and that suspects would be charged to court once it is concluded.
