The Managing Director of a Financial Technology Platform, PalmPay Limited, Chika Nwosu, has cautioned its customers across the country to guard against being scammed by resisting the temptation of indiscriminately clicking on any link on their phones and devices without first verifying the authenticity of the site.
Nwosu noted that the campaign became necessary in view of the increasing incidences of fraud and activities of fraudsters.
“My message to customers is that they should be very careful. Not whatever you see as a link on your phone or maybe your Facebook you click. Ensure you verify the link before you click on it. Any link that you don’t trust, you don’t need to click on it. Beware of the antics of the fraudsters,” Nwosu said.
He assured that his bank is committed to bringing the incidences of fraud involving its customer to zero level.
He stated: “We want to have a very healthy financial ecosystem. We want to eliminate everything that is fraud on our platform. We don’t want anybody who is using PalmPay to be a victim of fraudsters.
