The Police in Rivers state has finally apprehended the men allegedly behind the public display of pornography video at the densely populated garrison area in Port Harcourt.
At about 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, a pornographic film suddenly beamed on the screen billboard, which many residents considered to be offensive and distasteful to the sensibilities of not just adults but children under the age of 18 who were exposed to this video.. The video lasted for 60 seconds, local media reported
State police spokesman, Nnamdi Omoni, in a statement, identified the culprits as Segun Emmanuel, an engineer, and Kingsley Benjamin, a security personnel, whose careless actions led to the display of pornographic video on a screen billboard on Thursday evening.
The suspects have confessed their complicity in the crime, and are currently in the custody of the police helping out with the investigation and will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded,” Mr Omoni added.
