Amazing scenes of celebration was witnessed in Cameroun as the African Cup of Nations final was played between Senegal and Egypt. At the end of the game, despair , devastation reigned on the losing side while the winning Senegalese team embraced their Egyptian counterpart with tears of joy.
Senegal beat Egypt 4-2 to win the cup. Sadio Mane slammed home the winning goal that gave Senegal the edge to win the African Cup of Nations for the first time ever.
Senegal’s 3-2 goal against Egypt was scored by Bamba Dieng through a penalty, which Lassisi missed.
The equalizer 2-2 Egypt came from Gabaski who saved the situation by thwarting Bouna Sarr’s effort.
