After much back and forth , President Muhammadu Buhari On Friday signed the Electoral Amendment Bill into law, to the relief of many Nigerians
The president assented to the bill at a brief ceremony held at the Council of the Aso Villa in Abuja
This assent of the electoral bill by the President finally lays to rest agitations in the past few months over his delay in signing the re-amended bill.
Present at the ceremony were; the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, President of the Senate, Ahmed Lawan, and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila.
All were at hand to witness the momentous occasion.
