LAGOS — Public interest lawyer, Ayodele Ademiluyi, has dragged the Federal Government, the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), the Airline Operators of Nigeria (AON) and 11 others before the Federal High Court, Lagos, seeking ₦500 billion in damages over what he described as discriminatory handling of aviation infractions involving King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall (Kwam 1) and Comfort Emmanson.
In suit FHC/L/CS/1632/25, Ademiluyi alleged “gross imbalance” in how the cases were treated, accusing authorities of failing to arrest, arraign or prosecute Ayinde, while Emmanson faced stringent sanctions, including detention. He noted that Ayinde was instead appointed a brand ambassador for the aviation sector.
“This is not about celebrity status or political connections — it’s about the sanctity of the rule of law,” he said, seeking a court order to compel relevant authorities to act against all involved.
Defendants include the President, the Attorney-General of the Federation, Minister of Aviation Festus Keyamo (SAN), NCAA, FAAN, Ibom Air, ValueJet, the Nigerian Police, the Nigerian Correctional Service, the Akwa Ibom State Governor, and the AON.
