Access Bank CEO, Herbert Wigwe, is feared dead after a helicopter crash near the Nevada border in California, USA. The Group Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings Plc, along with his wife and son, was reportedly onboard the ill-fated helicopter.
Reports say the helicopter crash occurred in a community called Nipton, California, approximately 60 miles south of Las Vegas in eastern San Bernardino County. The Federal Aviation Administration confirmed the crash of the Eurocopter EC130 helicopter around 10 p.m. local time.
As of Saturday morning, authorities have not located any survivors. The New York Times stated that efforts to find survivors were ongoing.
