The All Progressive Congress,, APC, Friday, disqualified Senator Prince Bassey Otu, a governorship aspirant and Governor Ayade’s pick for the number one position in Cross Rivers State over allegations of certificate forgery.
The senator was excluded from contesting the APC primaries by the screening committee over series of petitions.
The Appeal Committee in its submissions affirmed that the decision of the screening committee to disqualify Otu was based on various petitions bothering on criminal allegations and certificate forgery.
