Finally, Chicago State University, CSU, has complied with a United States of America court order, to release the academic records of president Bola Tinubu to the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar for verification, and in support of Atiku’s petition challenging the result of the2023 presidential election.
In compliance with the court’s order, CSU, made the documents available, Monday night.
Justice Nancy Maldonado, in a judgment dismissed the objection raised by Bola Tinubu against Atiku’s request and ordered that the records be released to Atiku.
Reports say that Atiku’s lawyers are closely studying the reports and ill make their findings known in due course.
The deposition, when it is fully made public will offer clarity to many issues, relating to president Tinubu’s academic records which has dominated the tabloids for months.
Until then, all fingers are crossed and many Nigerians are waiting in bated breath to know what is in the documents.
Tinubu had tendered certificates from the Chicago State University, CSU, to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to be qualified to run for election in 2023, an election he controversially won, to become the president of the federal republic of Nigeria.
