Spain made history on Sunday, with its 2-1 victory over England in the UEFA Euro 2024 final at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.
Mikel Oyarzabal’s late goal at the 86th minute into the end of the game secured victory for Spain to clinch their fourth European Championship title, breaking a tie it has held with the 2024 host, Germany.
By this win, Spain now has four major honours since 2008, joining an elite group of teams to achieve a French Open and Wimbledon win in the same year.
