The Federal High Court in Abuja, which was billed to take a decision on the case filed by the African Democratic Congress (ADC) following the sack of David Mark and Rauf Aregbesola, has postponed the judgment earlier slated for today, Monday, to a future date.
The court was expected to deliver its verdict in a fresh suit seeking to restrain Senator David Mark and Rauf Aregbesola from parading themselves as ADC Chairman and Secretary respectively.
As early as 8 am on Monday, the court was already filled with supporters from both camps.
The suit was filed by a member of the House of Representatives from Kogi State, Hon. Leke Abejide.
However, Justice Musa Suleiman Liman, who is presiding over the case, postponed the judgment delivery by 24 hours due to other pressing official engagements
The development was communicated by a Registrar of the Court, leaving supporters
Recall that ADC has been facing legal challenges, culminating in the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, de-recognizing its leaders.
