Gun men has Killed one person, kidnapped one Adenike, a youth corps member and the only daughter of her parents with seven others on Tuesday in Extension 2 Relocation along Arab Road, Kubwa area of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
Adenike, currently serving out her mandatory one year National Youth Service Scheme was reportedly whisked away in her father’s home.
According to newspaper reports, about ten people were kidnapped alongside the Youth Corper, but two reportedly escaped.
Punch reports that during the attack that two persons were shot; and that while one died on the spot, the other was immediately rushed to Kubwa General hospital for treatment. The report confirmed that the name of the dead victim is Abel, a tailor popularly known as ‘Oshodi,’ in the area
The gun men reportedly escaped without being apprehended.
