Gunmen have reportedly kidnapped the twin children and the sister of the former Minister of Power, Bayo Adelabu, in Ibadan.
Adelabu is a member of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the State.
The incident occurred around 7:30am on Wednesday in the Challenge area of Ibadan South West Local Government Area of the state, as the abducted woman, Mrs. John- Paul was taking her twin sons, Peter and Paul to school.
According to an eyewitness account:
“The family members were going out this morning from Elewura to link the express when they were attacked and whisked away by the unknown kidnappers”.
Recently, teachers and students were kidnapped last month following a coordinated attack at Ahoro-Esiele in Oriire Local Government Area of the state.
The authorities in the State have neither confirmed nor denied the report.
