Nescafé has rewarded four Nigerian entrepreneurs with business support packages after they emerged as grand prize winners in its Next Level Promo, an initiative designed to empower consumers and help small businesses grow.
In a statement, the coffee brand said the campaign, which ran between April and June 2026, attracted more than 240,000 entries from consumers across the country, with four winners receiving trade-specific equipment, seed funding, and enrollment in a skills development programme to strengthen their entrepreneurial journey.
The winners are Jennifer Sunday from Kaduna State, Ikechukwu Ani from Lagos State, Nwajije Chukwuemeka from Ebonyi State, and Najumudeen Yusuf from Jos, Plateau State.
Speaking at the grand finale in Lagos, the Managing Director of Nestlé Nigeria, Wassim Elhusseni, said the promotion reflected the company’s commitment to supporting the aspirations of its consumers beyond rewarding their loyalty.
“The Next Level Promo reflects our commitment to growing alongside our consumers and supporting their aspirations.
“For decades, Nescafé has been part of Nigerians’ lives, helping them start each day with purpose. As a brand, it is important to us that we continue to grow alongside our consumers and remain relevant to their aspirations.
“This commitment inspired the Nescafé Next Level Promo, which was built on a simple but powerful insight: across Nigeria, people are striving every day to build businesses, acquire new skills, and create better opportunities for themselves and their families.
“Through this initiative, we wanted to celebrate and reward the hard work, resilience, and determination that define the Nigerian spirit while reaffirming our commitment to supporting their journey towards progress and success”, Elhusseni said.
As part of the reward package, the four winners travelled to Lagos, where they toured the Nescafé factory to gain first-hand knowledge of the coffee production process and visited the JK Randle Museum before receiving their prizes at the Nestlé Nigeria head office in Ilupeju.
One of the beneficiaries, Jennifer Sunday, described the experience as memorable and thanked the company for investing in her entrepreneurial journey.
“The entire experience has been incredible from start to finish. From being flown in from Kaduna to touring the Nescafé factory and seeing the production and packaging process firsthand, every moment exceeded my expectations.
“I am truly grateful for this opportunity and would like to thank the Nescafé team for making this possible”, Sunday noted.
The Category Manager, Coffee Nigeria, Jean Duplan, said the promotion surpassed expectations, attracting over 240,000 entries nationwide and rewarding more than 41,000 consumers with instant prizes, including cash and airtime.
“The four grand prize winners were selected from among more than 41,000 consumers who also received instant rewards, including cash prizes and airtime, making this one of Nescafé’s most impactful consumer promotions to date.
“Through the Next Level Promo, we were not only able to reward consumer loyalty, but our priority was also on investing in the aspirations of Nigerians by providing practical resources to help them build sustainable livelihoods”, Duplan said.
According to the company, the campaign combined instant rewards with long-term business empowerment as part of its efforts to celebrate ambition, reward consumer loyalty, and provide practical support for Nigerians seeking to build sustainable livelihoods.
