An Okada rider was reportedly killed in a clash involving okada riders and policemen at the Ile Epo bus stop in Lagos on Monday, resulting in the irate mob setting a building on fire.
Muyuwa Adejobi, Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed that additional policemen have been deployed to the area to restore normalcy.
The spokesman said the Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, has ordered a thorough investigation into the incident.
