After several days of being in the kidnapper’s net, operatives of the Nigeria Police Force have reportedly rescued Mrs. Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul and her 12-year-old twin sons, Peter and Paul, alive.
The rescue occurred during a late-night rescue operation which took place around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2026.
The two suspected kidnappers were reportedly neutralised during a gun battle with police operatives, while two firearms were recovered from the gang.
Recall that the abduction of the younger sister of the former Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, Mrs. Adegoke John- Paul, and her twin sons, occurred around 7:30 a.m. on June 3, 2026, while on their way to drop the children off at school.
According to reports, efforts are still ongoing by security operatives to apprehend other members of the syndicate who are currently at large.
