Soldiers have invaded the Lekki toll gate where thousands of protesters have been demonstrating against police brutality for the past 13 days.
On Tuesday evening, residents of Lekki reported that the security operatives unleashed fire at the protesters at Lekki toll gate.
The protesters have refused to leave the toll gate despite the 24-hour curfew imposed by the state government.
There are reports that some of the protesters have been shot dead but this cannot be immediately verified as at the time of the report.
Unconfirmed reports say that at least three protesters were killed by the security operatives.
Nigerian Army has however, denied shooting or killing any of the #ENDSARS protesters.
Earlier in the day, some Twitter users raised the alarm that closed circuit television (CCTV) at the toll gate had been disconnected.
