The FATE Foundation has reiterated its commitment to equipping entrepreneurs with the right mindset, frameworks, and support systems to excel and guide them through economic shifts, policy changes, and market evolution.
The Dean and Director of the FATE School, Bambo Adebowale, who disclosed this during a press conference to herald the 10th FATE Business Outlook and Alumni General Meeting (AGM) slated for February 21, 2025, said over the past decade, the platform has grown into a powerful avenue for entrepreneurs within their alumni community, providing them with invaluable insights to drive sustainable growth in their businesses.
“When we launched Business Outlook in 2016, our vision was to create a knowledge-driven forum that would equip entrepreneurs with the tools to navigate the ever-evolving business landscape.
“We recognized the need for a strategic gathering where real-life business challenges and opportunities could be analysed with practical solutions.
“Today, that vision has materialized into an impactful event, fostering innovation, resilience, and market positioning for hundreds of businesses.
“This year, our theme: “The Good, The Bad, and the Opportunities”, is particularly timely. Given Nigeria’s dynamic economic landscape, entrepreneurs are constantly faced with both challenges and possibilities.
“The 2025 Business Outlook will provide practical strategies to help businesses adapt, innovate, and scale in the face of macroeconomic fluctuations. It will also be a celebration of 10 years of impact, insights, and transformation within the FATE Alumni community”, he said.
The President, FATE Alumni Executive Committee, Toyin Bakare, in her speech, said for the past 10 years, the Business Outlook has been a platform for reflection, learning, and collaboration, which has helped entrepreneurs make sense of economic realities and develop practical strategies for navigating business challenges.
She noted that more importantly, it has strengthened the FATE Alumni network, fostering meaningful connections that drive partnerships and business success.
“This year’s theme is particularly significant. It acknowledges the resilience of entrepreneurs while highlighting new frontiers for growth and success”.
On her part, the Senior Programme Manager and Head, Growth and Alumni Services, Oluwaseun Oshoniyi, noted that beyond the insights, the event is about community.
